USD The heavy US calendar continues today, after a very important day yesterday that was filled with important events. The flow of data started with the Annualized GDP, that after an expectation of a 3% rise, the figure came stronger at 3.5%. The ADP employment also came stronger than expected and rose to 152K after a 140K forecast. The ADP is known to be closely affiliated with the Non Farm Payrolls that is due on Friday, which means that we might be seeing a strong number there as well. USD The Conference Board's index of US consumer confidence for January came in at 110.3, modestly above market consensus expectations of 110.0. December's Consumer Confidence was upwardly revised to 110.0 from the previously reported 109.0. The report continues showing a strong divergence between consumers' perception of the present situation and the expectations component.
