In USA, both Main Street and Wall Street have enjoyed much positive news over the last week giving the country and its currency a strong outlook for traders and investors alike. Whilst a flow of positive economic reports last week signaled good news, expert economists have been quiet on predicting a lasting effect or even confirming these as signals that the recession is over and growth likely to continue unhindered.
Last week USA enjoyed a number of good reports covering major economic indicators such as; employment, manufacturing and housing. Each of these three showed good growth and in any other period would signify that the economy is on the mend after fears of a prolonged double dipped recession begun last summer.
Most impressive of the reports and indicators was a from the U.S. manufacturers which showed significant rise in production subsequent recruitment to meet increasing demand is a natural consequence. Employed showed good growth also in many other areas of the economy.
